About ETR Competition
Welcome to an exciting, future-forward competition designed to unlock the potential of Africa’s next generation of innovators! This competition is designed to enhance 21st-century skills, foster connections among top talents, provide recognition as emerging tech leaders, and award certificates to enhance academic and career profiles. It’s more than a competition; it’s about empowering African youth for the global digital economy.
This dynamic 3-phase challenge is tailored for secondary school students passionate about technology, entrepreneurship, and global collaboration.
Phase 1 (Virtual)
Students begin with a timed online quiz. Successful participants receive instructions and a countdown for Phase 2.
Phase 2 (Virtual)
Entrants submit a creative “Show and Tell” video presentation for expert panel review to select finalists.
Phase 3 (Offline – Final Event)
Finalists are invited to the African Leadership University (ALU), Rwanda, for an in-person pitch competition, immersive workshops, and innovation challenges.
